School

A comprehensive training program for dancers to build a strong foundation in classical ballet and complementary elective styles.

Springfield Ballet’s school exists today as a comprehensive training program for area dancers to build a strong foundation in classical ballet and complementary elective dance styles.

The school’s curriculum is built around the core values of professionalism, excellence, and discipline and provides an atmosphere that fosters self-confidence, grace, focus and a thoughtful attitude toward instructors and other students.

Our highly skilled, professional faculty offer classes in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tap and stretch & strengthen. Classes are offered for all skill levels to individuals ages two through adult.

Springfield Ballet classes are unique in that they are neither recital nor competition driven. 100% of valuable classroom time is spent learning and strengthening dancers’ technique rather than practicing a routine for performance.

Students interested in performing may audition for Springfield Ballet’s season productions held in the fall and spring each year.
